Virgin Media have employed Eurosafe UK's services as CDM Coordinator and asbestos survey and management company since the initial rollout of our retail stores in 2006 / 2007

Throughout that period Eurosafe UK have provided us with a first class service, both in an advisory capacity for a whole host of shopfitting (and day to day) Health and Safety management issues, and also as our dedicated asbestos survey contractor.

Every site is surveyed prior to the commencement of shopfitting activities regardless of the site's condition and ease of access. Every survey is very thoroughly completed by fully trained and accredited individuals and the comprehensive survey results for each site are then posted onto an on-line asbestos register which is accessible to all nominated parties inside and outside of the Virgin Media business. Any survey information which changes between survey and project completion (for instance where hazardous materials are identified and then removed) is automatically updated so that we all can be certain that the register is 100% accurate at all times.

All surveying costs include the sampling and laboratory analysis of all samples taken form each site, and are comprehensively recorded on each report.

Where hazardous materials are found then Eurosafe UK will manage the safe removal of all substances in accordance with current legislation and best practice. This process includes tendering on our behalf to identify the best value and most appropriate licensed and accredited contractor(s) to deal with all hazardous removals prior to the safe commencement of the shopfit project, and where required, sites will be certificated to confirm the same.
