Eurosafe UK held a Charity Fun Day to send local boy, Alex McDowell and his family, on a holiday of a lifetime. Alex suffers from Fanconi Anaemia – a disorder of the blood which prevents DNA repair and breaks down bone marrow, eventually leading to Leukemia and a necessary bone marrow transplant. The condition has an incidence of 1 per 350,000 births. Eurosafe UK raised £640 on the day towards our target of £3,500.
