Asbestos Surveying

Eurosafe UK are UKAS accredited (No. 223) to undertake asbestos surveys and priority assessments for clients.

Surveys are undertaken by our own in-house, highly qualified and trained surveyors in accordance with HSG 264 - Asbestos : The Survey Guide.

What type of surveys are available?

Management Surveys

(Old Type 1 and 2 Surveys)

CONTINUED USE OF THE BUILDING.

A mixture of presumption and sampling survey. Undertaken for normal occupancy/activities and associated maintenance/installation involving minor intrusive work

Refurbishment/Demolition Survey

(Old Type 2.5/Elements and Type 3 Survey)

ALTERING / IMPROVING THE BUILDING

A destructive and invasive survey where all areas of the prmises should be access. This type of survey should be undertaken when there is any type of construction activity over and above minor work (and to include 'minor' refurbishment)

Identification of suspect materials

We offer a re-active service of identifying suspect materials (also known as Asbestos-Containing Materials or ACMs) uncovered during building/construction works.

Database

Following an asbestos survey, an asbestos survey report is produced by our bespoke database.

Our database also produces management re-inspection reports on a clients portfolio at an agreed frequency determined by the client's asbestos management plan.
