Management cycle auditing is an essential tool to check that what your policies and procedures are saying that our company should do are actually happening and if they are not happening then why not?
Eurosafe (CDM Services) currently carry out workplace audits for many of our clients. This can mean auditing safety management systems that have been put in place initially by Eurosafe (CDM Services) or by developing a clients existing safety management system. Eurosafe (CDM Services) Safety Consultants base our workplace audits around the interactive four stage management system method used in business for the control and continual improvement of process and procedures, known as P.D.C.A (Plan – Do – Check – Act).
During this stage we will work with you to establish the objective of the audit, whilst familiarising ourselves with the system we will audit.
This is the implementation phase for the agreed plan. We look at how the current system works against the agreed plan.
We will study the results of the “Do” stage to see where there are differences from the plan, identifying compliance and non-compliance.
Any improvements identified in the check stage must be made. Our Consultant can advise on the level of improvements that will satisfy legislation and also assist you in preparing an action plan which identifies timelines for delivery of the improvements.
Where there have been issues of non-compliance Eurosafe (CDM Services) will work with the client to establish why non-compliance has occurred and assist in developing solutions where required. Having an external audit of your workplace can help you to know that you have everything in order to protect your business and your staff.
